WHERE TO EAT OFF OF THE STRIP IN LAS VEGAS
It's thrilling to be in Vegas. We get it. From that moment you first step out of the car and hit the strip; it’s easy to get lost in the bright lights and feel energized by the large crowds. A haven for foodies and gamblers alike, where you can indulge in culinary bites from around the world and ride with lady luck until the morning light.
When in Vegas, you can totally have the best time just hanging out at the strip. But for those adventurous souls who want to taste the city's local vibe, we've put together a list of a few of our favorite places to eat off the strip.
EATING OFF THE STRIP
LAMAII | CHINATOWN
Lamaii is a modern Thai restaurant in Las Vegas' Chinatown neighborhood, which runs for three miles along Spring Mountain Road. A few suggested eats to get you started: the duck basil fried rice (pictured above), the gangpu noodles (spicy crab curry served with vermicelli noodles), and the garlic herb crispy prawns. And if you’re coming off of a late Vegas night, add the tom yum goong soup and thank us later.
LA STREGA | DOWNTOWN
La Strega is a restaurant in downtown Las Vegas that features authentic and authentic-tasting Italian dishes with a modern twist. It is owned by two Italian brothers who have been in the restaurant business for over 15 years. They are passionate about food and know Italian cuisine inside and out. The result is a restaurant that offers a great dining experience.
HACHI | CHINATOWN
Hachi is a Japanese Izakaya in Las Vegas that serves yakitori, hand-grilled with Binchotan Charcoal of the highest quality. They make really delicious, authentic yakitori, but they also have an expansive menu with other popular dishes such as edamame, karage, sashimi, and a variety of specialty rolls.
CLEAVER
Cleaver is the place to go if you're seeking a vintage Vegas vibe. Cleaver puts a modern spin on the classic Las Vegas steakhouse by creating a space that pays respect to the hustle and bustle of the scene. Seasonal flavors, as well as a killer drink selection, are blended into their expansive menu.
SAINT HONORÉ
Visit Saint Honoré, a boutique Las Vegas doughnut bakery specializing in brioche doughnuts and beignets made with high-quality seasonal ingredients for a sweet indulgence. They not only serve doughnuts and beignets but also deliciously crave-worthy pastries and gourmet pizzas. Order ahead online to skip the line.
DOWNTOWN TERRACE KITCHEN & BAR | FREMONT STREET
The Downtown Terrace Kitchen & Bar is located on Fremont Street in the Downtown Container Park. It's great for brunch, but it's also great any time of day because it gives you a front-row seat to all of Fremont Street's live music and entertainment.
SHANG ARTISAN NOODLES
Technique, skill, and tradition are on display at Shang Artisan Noodles in Las Vegas. Handcrafted noodles are made fresh for each customer, the craft is a labor-intensive art that evokes traditional cultural elements that are elevated with modern twists.
GOOD PIE | ARTS DISTRICT
When you walk into Good Pie Las Vegas, the first thing you notice is the smell. The delicious aroma of freshly baked pizza fills the air. Using quality ingredients flown in from Italy, Good Pie is paying homage to New York traditions with their Grandma Pizza. They also have Detroit-style pizzas, classic New York street food, and Brooklyn-style pizza pies on the menu.
